A Tradition kept alive
We had the most amazing experience staying at a houseboat in Srinagar. The quiet and peaceful location provided a much-needed escape from the noise of the city. We were served tea by our boatkeeper, Bashir, on the balcony while enjoying the stunning views of the lake. The houseboat is beautifully preserved in its original style, which deserves admiration and support. I highly recommend staying here for a few days to fully immerse yourself in this tradition.

Wat hebben we genoten van ons verblijf in dit unieke hotel midden in de stad! De locatie kon niet beter zijn, dichtbij alles en toch heel rustig. De gastvrouw gaf ons veel handige informatie en was ontzettend vriendelijk. De kamer was compact maar zeer praktisch, en de badkamer was ruim en modern. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en het uitzicht vanaf het dek was prachtig. Enig minpuntje was het ontbreken van een televisie.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location on a picturesque lake is stunning and allowed us to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel staff was very accommodating and made us feel taken care of. The hotel facilities were also impressive, including the spacious and clean rooms and the air conditioning. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious.

The experience was amazing! I loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the views were breathtaking and it was great to have a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. the staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help out. the food was delicious and tasted home-cooked. I also appreciated having WiFi available for easy communication with my colleagues.
Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and serene getaway.

The views were absolutely stunning and the staff were friendly. The houseboat had some interesting local decor and it was nice to have a unique experience. The location was also great, right on the water and close to some nearby shops.
The cleanliness was not up to par and there were some unpleasant smells. The facilities also seemed a bit outdated and in need of repair.
